In addition to my work as a church musician, accompanist and choral conductor, I’ve been playing piano in and leading jazz and general-business dance bands for nearly forty years (I started young). I work every Friday night at Graziano’s Italian Supper Club in Lisbon, Maine with a group led by guitarist Paul Wright, and I belong to a group called the Maine Rhythm Section with bassist Don Knowles and drummer Bill McCarthy. This group has worked as the rhythm section for bands, soloists and singers for many years, and we are available for weddings, club dates and other functions. We can be booked as a trio; we can also add up to three horns, and we can book fine jazz singers such as Diane Linscott as well.
